By now I do believe I can install and uninstall the starter motor of the Viking, blindfolded. I think it has been six times I now uninstalled and reinstalled the starter motor. Finally this week it worked all so well. shrum shrum brum brum yippedy yep hurry. Well the cheers were short lived, as the oil line leak appeared again. Still abig success and the next step is fixing the oil leak. At this stage a BIG Thank you to everyone who helped with the starter motor. Stewart from Ashdown Ingram, the unknown person in Queensland who first dissambeled and reassembled the clutch, Adam from Flex engineering in Port Huon. Laurence and Martin, ... At the end the Phil polished the little thing to the degree that it almost looked new. With new teeth and an adjusted solenoid it can bite again and turn the flywheel to its pleasures. THANK YOU ALL see you shortly on the water (crossing my fingers) |
